So being stuck at home with the flu for a whole week has put me in a Lemony Snicket mood. The little Beatrice tangents are by far my favorite.
...didn't quite manage Lemony in his toreador comstume, Beatrice doesn't really look like a dragonfly, and this turned out only vaguely Helquisty, but I'm just really pleased to be working on something that was both my idea and in COLOR (end art class rant) |

It's cool to see some Snicket fanart that isn't directly related to the main concept of the series.
I really, really loved the Beatrice bits.
I feel like they're showing up less and less. I wouldn't put it past Handler to never explain what happened.

But the same rule always applies: Smile pretty and watch your back.
I wouldn't expect him to explain it, either. A coworker and I spent about an hour trying to solve this intricate puzzle on the Lemony Snicket website; the question was something to the extent of "What happened to Lemony Snicket?" The answer, after all our effort, was "He is finished." Which was kinda funny but kinda frustrating, too.
I've seen a Beatrice-related book set for release, though. The Beatrice Letters, I think. Something of that nature. Hopefully it'll be more informative than Snicket's Unauthorized Autobiography.
